Railway operations
- Assumption of operational responsibility for railway transport (public and private) or for infrastructure and connecting lines (roles as railway operations manager/safety manager, connecting line manager; supervision of railway operating personnel)
- Consulting activities: e. g., support and advice in the development and implementation of safety management systems (SMS), support and advice in the preparation of applications for safety certificates, development of railway operational, railway technical, and company-specific regulations, etc.
- Construction supervision, quality control, technical controlling of rail vehicles during production and commissioning or prior to recommissioning (EBO and BOStrab vehicles)
- Training and further education of operating personnel
